I've wanted to try Black Walnut for over 2 years and finally made it today (Thanksgiving). I made a reservation for the bar and was able to sit right away. From my drink ( Ménage A Poire) to the brussel sprout salad and oysters, to the Honey Lavendar Chicken everything had wonderful flavor and presentation. I ended with the Black Walnut cake and my only regret is I couldn't eat all the cake by myself. A great experience as a solo diner, I look forward to visiting again.

My husband and I tried this place for dinner and were very pleased. We started with the Burgundy mushroom and it was so good. My husband got the Ora King Salmon and it was perfectly seared and the flavor was spot on. I got the New Zealand rack of lamb and it was amazingly tender and so flavorful. We were just too full for desserts. The service was great as well. Portia (not sure if I spelled that right) was our waitress and she was really good and very helpful with her suggestions. We look forward to going back and trying some of the other dishes that they have. The prices were fair for the quality that you get. The atmosphere was nice and unique, it is small and quaint and modern in design. Would highly recommend and we will be back!

We had a special dinner at the Black Walnut; it was a memorable experience! We initially tried to get a table for 12 hours but found it fully reserved. However, we decided to stop in and check- and thankfully, they had a seat for us in the bar area! We started with jerk chicken lollipops served with mango chutney-damn, it was so good! The Parmesan truffle fries were a great touch. For our main course, my wife had the Cast Iron Strip (12 oz. New York Strip with red wine mushroom reduction, crispy potatoes, and Brussels sprouts), while I had the English beef ribs. Each was cooked to perfection and tasted really awesome. The bartenders are really friendly, adding to the overall experience. Overall, an exquisite dinner at Black Walnut, we would definitely recommend it 😍😍😍😍

Family was in town and decided to explore something different for dinner. Black Walnut was an excellent choice. We had a large group of 9 and were seated within 15 minutes of arriving without a reservation. Service was excellent, we had to servers and they were both very attentive. Their menu is a bit on the pricey side, but the flavors in the meal is different worth it. Highly recommend to anyone looking to treat themselves or family to a nice dinner. Cocktails were also very good and flavorful. 🍸
